  1. I'm reading HOW TO LIVE FOREVER and I like the old lady that has all that gold, and only cares about her gold. She even threw the stairs away so nobody could even touch her gold.

  2. Hi, it's Tim here. At the moment I am reading The Twits. I am really enjoying it so far, just like every other time i've read it. I've read it reaps of times and i never get sick of it. It's a really great book. My favourite characters are Mr and Mrs Twit because they keep playing funny tricks on each other.

How To Live Forever is also fantastic. It seems that no matter how many times I read it, I still find something new in it.

  6. The name of the book is "Cool". A boy gets hit by a car and is in a coma for a month. His favourite soccer player comes to visit him to see if it wakes him up, ..... (you will have to read the book to see for yourself if he wakes up!!)

  7. Mac, I love that you give the reader a little taste of the book but you don't give too much away. You have a very impressive way with words!
Thank you Sophie, I've had a great day. Hope you have too. You've described your favourite character well. I agree with you about Colin Thompson. He's a very clever author.
Emma, I'm looking forward to meeting Earshader again too. I had forgotten how entertaining he is as a character!

  10. Guid Blyton

If I could meet Guid Blyton I would ask him, what made you come up with the funny people in the Far Away Tree and the Wishing Chair? What other books do you write? I have read the Wishing Chair the Far Away Tree and the other series of the Wishing Chair! I have also read two other books but I forgot the names! I always wondered how he comes up with all the funny names. I love reading Guid Blyton's books because they are always a adventure!

  11. I think you mean Enid Blyton Hannah? (It does look like a G on the front of the books though. I think she would have been a wonderful author to talk too - so clever and creative. Her writing always makes me believe that there is a Faraway Tree. They really are an adventure - you've described them so well. Just lovely. :-)
