Hi everyone! Jump on and discuss your favourite books from Term 1.
I've added a link to a British newspaper that has provided lists of recommended books for children. These lists have been created by some famous authors you may know and like.
How many of their recommended books have you read so far? Join the discussion and let us know.

More about our favourite books!
I have really enjoyed reading about all the books our teachers have enjoyed as children! What a wonderful and diverse range. I hope other parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and , of course, children keep adding to the discussion. Don't forget to become followers everyone! I wonder how many followers we can get before the end of the term??

Keep the discussion going!
Hi everyone. We're really enjoying the discussion of your favourite children's books.
Keep adding your thoughts to the post below as comments. Wouldn't it be fantastic if
we could get comments from everyone in the school community - and further afield??!!

What Was Your Favourite Book When You Were A Child?
What was the best book you loved to read when you were younger?
This is our first discussion starter - not just for the children, but for
everyone at Myross Bush - and further afield if you are reading
this from somewhere else!
I loved all the Enid Blyton books but I also had a soft spot for the classics
like Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, etc, and then there was always
Dr Seuss!!
What about those series you loved to collect - the Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys and
Trixie Belden books....
Please add your discussion as a comment and we'll see where our love of Literature
takes us.
